During this time of the year many of us look back over the last twelve months and reflect on our efforts and consider what the next year may bring.
I’m happy to say FRR has made significant strides this year. Thanks to the help and support of the FRR Community, we went live with our website back in the fall. In today’s terms, you have to have a website to be considered relevant. FRR embraces this concept and looks forward to taking advantage of the infinite distribution possibilities that the web offers independent labels and artists.
While the FRR website is new and requires some additional content, it is important to note that it will always be a work in progress, continuing to grow and morph for years (i.e. will never be done). In the months to come, we will be posting new artist downloads, interviews, photos and videos of your favorite FRR Artists.
Come back often to check out the new content. Join the Fractured Rock Record Club. No, it’s not like those record clubs in the 70’s and 80’s that once you received the free vinyl or CD you could never cancel your membership. The Fractured Rock Record Club is essentially a confidential email list which enables you to get periodic (monthly) updates on FRR news/content. To sign up, just click on “Fractured Rock Record Club” from the main toolbar and follow the links to complete the brief form. You can also sign up for an RSS feed on the main page toolbar (click on RSS icon). This will send you a notice/link whenever the site has been updated with certain content. And of course, follow us on Facebook (the new boss; same as the old boss).
Finally, I hope your reflection on 2010 brings you peace of mind and your anticipation of 2011 gets you excited!
